WHAT IS PEPTIDE THERAPY?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as natural signaling messengers within the body, helping regulate specific biological processes related to metabolism, recovery, cellular function, and hormone signaling. When thoughtfully selected and used under medical supervision, peptide therapy can provide targeted support for the body’s natural processes and may complement goals related to energy, body composition, recovery, healthy aging, and overall wellness. At Worthy Wellness and Aesthetics, every peptide protocol is personalized to your individual health needs and goals.

Who Can Benefit From Peptide Therapy

Peptide therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Every protocol is thoughtfully developed around your individual wellness goals, health history, and relevant lab results, with medical provider oversight throughout your care. Your progress and response are monitored over time, allowing treatment to evolve with your needs while keeping safety and clinical appropriateness at the forefront.

Metabolic Health & Weight Optimization: Peptides that help regulate appetite, insulin sensitivity, and fat‑burning pathways.

Tissue Repair & Recovery: Regenerative peptides that support healing of joints, ligaments, tendons, and soft tissue.

Healthy Aging & Longevity: Peptides that promote cellular repair, improved sleep, vitality, and hormone balance.

Skin, Hair & Aesthetic Wellness: Collagen‑stimulating peptides that enhance skin texture, elasticity, and hair growth.

Energy, Mood & Cognitive Support: Targeted peptides that may support mental clarity, motivation, and physical performance.

Tesamorelin is a synthetic peptide that mimics your body's natural growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It stimulates the pituitary gland to produce more of your own growth hormone, which in turn increases levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1). This can help reduce visceral fat (the deep abdominal fat that surrounds internal organs).
Semorelin-Sermorelin (sometimes misspelled "semorelin") is a synthetic peptide that mimics growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Rather than being growth hormone itself, it signals your pituitary gland to release more of your body's own growth hormone. How it works Normally, your hypothalamus releases GHRH, which tells the pituitary gland to produce growth hormone (GH). Sermorelin acts like that natural signal, leading to: ● Increased release of growth hormone ● Increased production of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), which mediates many of GH's effects Because it stimulates your body's own hormone production, the pattern of GH release is generally more physiologic than injecting growth hormone directly. What is it used for? Historically, sermorelin was: ● Used to help diagnose growth hormone deficiency. ● Approved in the U.S. for certain children with growth hormone deficiency or growth failure.
NAD+-NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It plays a critical role in producing energy and maintaining healthy cell function. main functions: ● Energy production: NAD+ helps convert food into ATP, the molecule your cells use for energy. ● DNA repair: It supports enzymes that repair damaged DNA. ● Cell signaling: NAD+ activates proteins called sirtuins, which are involved in aging, inflammation, and metabolism. ● Metabolism: It helps process carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
GHK-Cu (sometimes written as GHKCU), it's a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide made of the amino acids glycine, histidine, and lysine bound to a copper ion. It has been studied for decades for its role in tissue repair and skin biology. Research has investigated GHK-Cu for: ● Skin health: May promote collagen production and improve the appearance of fine lines and skin texture. ● Wound healing: Has shown effects on tissue repair in laboratory and some clinical studies. ● Hair growth: There is some research on its potential to support hair follicles, but evidence in humans remains limited.
